Contract | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Per Week | 12-Hour Variable Day/Night Shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical and Pediatrics unit, treating adult patients with conditions including respiratory illness, stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 on day shifts and 1:6–7 on night shifts
• Float to all inpatient units as needed based on census and staffing demands
• Accurately document patient care and assessments using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to all facility infection control and health compliance policies, including masking requirements during flu season as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to frequent changes throughout a shift
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to engage with team and ancillary staff
