This position will work in New York to drive the success of NYSEG and RG&E’s NWA/NPA program portfolios throughout the project lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract execution and administration.A successful candidate will embrace opportunities to take on new challenges and be comfortable leading and motivating their peers. Additionally, the successful candidate has excellent analytical skills, a strong work ethic, and an ability to self-task based on a desired outcome rather than step by step instruction.**Key Responsibilities*** Prepare project work & action plans, budgets, and milestone schedules by providing analytical expertise, performance tracking and reporting, and partnership support.* Maintain and provide accurate project documentation. Responsible for company compliance with regulatory proceedings (including but not limited to reporting, data request responses, required filings, etc.)* Lead NWA and NPA procurement efforts, including development and evaluation of Requests For Proposals (RFP) to select viable projects.* Own and deliver benefit-cost analyses that inform investment decisions and regulatory filings for potential NWA and NPA projects in New York.* Serve as a subject matter expert and lead the utilization and maintenance of the New York BCA Handbooks, as well as the incorporation of the BCA and other screening methodologies into distribution and transmission system planning analyses.* Lead the development and oversight of EM&V requirements, including holding project developers accountable for performance.* Represent the companies in external discussions and collaborate with other regional utilities and stakeholders, as needed.* Establish and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships, including those with regulators.* Present project information in various settings and to different audiences including internal team, leadership, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders.**Required Qualifications*** Education & Experience Required: + Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred. + Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required. + Experience supporting the implementation of complex initiatives. + Strong analytical focus with specific experience in benefit cost modeling. + Demonstrated understanding of Distributed Energy Resource planning, performance measurement and verification, and system impact. + Demonstrated understanding of utility operations and positive customer interactions. + Ability to work within a matrix environment, including geographically dispersed teams.* Skills/Abilities: + Highly developed quantitative skills as demonstrated with complex modeling; preference given to previous benefit/cost modeling experience. + Experienced in the electric utility industry and knowledge of business operations. + Understanding of Distributed Energy Resource planning, performance measurement and verification, and system impact. + Must be an effective and positive communicator. + Demonstrated understanding of current distribution and/or transmission planning requirements, electrical engineering and Energy Control Center (ECC) operations, including ability to work across these functional areas preferred. + Strong and demonstrated understanding of power systems analysis preferred.**Preferred Qualifications*** Delivering for the Business: + Global view of the Business - Advanced + Achieving Results and Continuous Improvements - Competent + Initiative - Competent + Innovation & Creativity - Competent* Global Relationships: + Flexibility & Globalization - Competent + Customer Focus - Competent + Communicating & Influencing - Advanced + Team Work - Advanced* Managing People: + Team Management - Competent + Developing Others - Competent**Competencies*** Growth & Continuous Improvement* Initiative & Change* Focused on Results* Customer Centric (internal and/or external)* Communication* Collaboration* Leadership (people managers/leaders)**What We Offer:*** **Competitive benefits and growth opportunities*** **Generous performance‐based bonuses*** **12% 401(k) match*** **Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance*** **Tuition reimbursement*** **Professional development and clear career‐advancement pathways****For more information, please visit: Benefits - Avangrid**#LI-Onsite; #LI-CH1**Company:**NY STATE ELECTRIC & GAS CORP**Información Movilidad** Tenga en cuenta que cualquier solicitante que no sea ciudadano del país de la vacante estará sujeto al cumplimiento de los requisitos de inmigración aplicables para trabajar legalmente en ese país.
