2026 Salary Range: $89,508 -$138,370 including locality pay

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a 1st level supervisor with position management responsibilities over subordinate employees within the 448SCMW/OMX. The role directs work activities through subordinates, guiding them to provide advice, accountability, and expertise on a continuous basis.

Duty 1: Exercises 1st level technical and administrative supervisory personnel management responsibilities for 25% or more of duty time over subordinate employees.

Duty 2: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics workforce management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.

Duty 3: Participates in special logistics workforce related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.

Duty 4: Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Requirements:

-The incumbent must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

-The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours, including evenings and weekends, and may be subject to recall.

-The incumbent may be required to report to work during base exercises, contingencies, or emergency situations, and overtime/comp time/credit hours may be necessary to accomplish assigned duties.

Recruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Mastery knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of the position.

Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.

Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of team building, developing interpersonal relationships, maintaining good working relationships, and leading members as a cooperative team.

Ability to plan, organize, direct, mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of a small to medium (or large) sized organization.

Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options.

Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.

Ability to utilize AoP concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
