Regional Sales Manager - Environmental

Responsibilities Lead customer relationship management efforts and develop new customers for Aerzen blower and compressor solutions in industrial markets. Call on end‑user customers, engineering firms and OEMs to influence purchasing specifications to include Aerzen products. Develop new customers within the market/region and find new applications for Aerzen products. Manage and support relationships with existing customers to promote and grow the company’s aftermarket business across the assigned territory. Effectively manage key customer accounts and understand the decision‑makers and how decisions are made. Support customers, OEMs and engineering firms as needed with equipment selection, specifications review, compliance with standards, total cost of ownership assessments, etc. Prepare quotations and bid submittals and coordinate support for pre‑bid meetings and follow‑up. Prepare and deliver professional presentations and coordinate customer education efforts as required. Prepare sales projections, forecasts, strategies, reports using CRM system as applicable. Assist in development and implementation of marketing plans and support preparations for regional and national trade shows. Support order processing efforts and follow‑up activities throughout the order execution process. Work closely with Project Sales Manager, Process Gas on key projects that include blower and compressor solutions for process gas and air. Work closely with Reliability Engineer to identify upgrade and retrofit opportunities for Aerzen solutions in existing operations. Interact professionally with Aerzen project management, engineering, production and customer support personnel to provide knowledge regarding specific customers and orders. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Communications or related field; Relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered. Experience: 5+ years of sale of industrial equipment or similar field; Direct experience with rotary screw compressors and positive displacement blowers is a plus. Software/Applications: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Basic ability to create, use and retrieve project‑related information from ERP systems, Product Configurator software and CRM software. Other: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume; Motivational skills and a strong sense of urgency to meet customer commitments; Action‑oriented team leadership and strong performance management skills; Ability to travel >50% of the time as needed.
