Financial Operations Analyst II

We are only considering candidates local to Clearwater, Fl at this time.JOB SUMMARYResponsible for preparing and compiling financial reporting, analysis, and projections, and operating metrics for business unit reviews, identifying and analyzing forecast and budget variances, and providing financial support in development of corrective action plans to achieve business unit goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze markets’ financial and operating results of the respective business unitPrepare financial projections and assess performance against budget, forecast, and prior yearCompile operating metrics for weekly/monthly business unit review meetingsPrepare presentations of financial and operating results for senior managementProvide financial support to business unit leaders or operational teams to achieve business unit goalsAssist with the development of corrective action plansManage the tracking of business initiatives and corrective actions plansTake initiative to improve process efficiencies and corrective action plansAssist with budget preparationAssist with ROI preparation Assist with acquisition due diligenceAssist with month end closing and review account reconciliationLead or assist with process improvement and automation, and other special projects as necessaryMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting required; MBA preferred but not required4 - 7 years of relevant experience is requiredPossess math skills sufficient to perform required dutiesOr an equivalent combination of education, training or experienceJob SummaryJob number: ANALY006831Profession: Finance
