Digital Marketing Agency - Operations Manager

We specialize in lead generation, CRM automation, and full-funnel digital marketing strategies. As we scale, we are looking for a highly technical and operationally-minded leader to serve as the founder's right hand and keep our agency running at its highest level. About the Role We are hiring a full-time, fully remote Operations & Automation Manager. This is not a traditional operations role — it requires deep hands-on experience with GoHighLevel, ClickUp, and marketing automation systems and AI. You will be responsible for overseeing production workflows, managing our team\'s output, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that our clients receive exceptional results every time. Key Responsibilities Serve as the operational backbone of the agency, managing day-to-day production and workflow inside ClickUp Act as the primary liaison between account managers, web developers, paid ads management and the founder Oversee and optimize GoHighLevel (GHL) sub-accounts, workflows, automations, pipelines, and integrations Monitor AI and automation systems to ensure they are functioning at peak performance Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions before they impact clients Manage A2P 10DLC compliance, spam/robo-call mitigation, and telecom-related issues Troubleshoot technical issues across CRM platforms, Zapier, APIs, and third-party integrations Track team performance, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure nothing falls through the cracks Support onboarding of new clients and ensure smooth handoffs between departments Continu continuously improve internal processes and document SOPs What We Are Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience working inside a digital marketing agency in an operations management role Advanced, hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) — this is non-negotiable Proficiency with ClickUp for project and task management Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM workflows, Zapier, and API integrations Experience with A2P 10DLC registration and telecom compliance is a strong asset Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset — you solve problems before being asked Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Strong understanding and proficient use of Manus, OpenClaw or both (Huge plus) Compensation and Details $54,000-$66,000 USD Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Fully Remote Hours: Monday to Friday, standard business hours (flexible) 5 weeks paid time off Why Join Excavation Marketing Pros Work directly with the founder in a high-impact, high-visibility role Be part of a growing agency with a strong client base and ambitious growth plans Flexible remote work environment Opportunity to build and lead systems that shape the future of the company Competitive compensation with room to grow #J-18808-Ljbffr Excavation Marketing Pros
