Role: Senior Business AnalystLocation: Omaha, NE (Onsite – 5 days a week)Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis and product delivery activities across shipment, waybill, unit train, and related transportation applications. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to define requirements, improve operational processes, support product roadmap development, and help deliver strategic initiatives that create measurable business value. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned analyst who brings transportation or logistics domain expertise and can translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technology solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end business analysis activities across transportation applications, including shipment, waybill, unit train, and related platformsPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirementsTranslate complex operational needs into clear user stories, process flows, business rules, and solution requirementsFacilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to align priorities, clarify scope, and drive decision-makingDevelop and maintain Level-0 and Level-1 process and system diagrams using tools such as Draw.ioSupport development and refinement of product roadmaps in partnership with business and product leadershipIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance user experience across transportation processesDrive prioritization of initiatives, features, and enhancements based on business value, operational impact, and delivery feasibilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, from requirements through implementation and post-production supportSupport test strategy, test case review, user acceptance testing, and validation of delivered solutions against business needsAssist with incident analysis, issue resolution, and production support activities to ensure stability and continuous improvementCreate clear documentation, status updates, and executive-ready communication materials for key stakeholdersQualificationsProven 7- 15 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst supporting complex business and technology initiativesStrong domain knowledge in transportation, logistics, supply chain, rail, shipment, or related operational environmentsDemonstrated experience leading end-to-end requirements management, from discovery and analysis through testing and production supportExperience developing product roadmaps and supporting product delivery in partnership with product owners and business stakeholdersHands-on experience using diagramming tools such as Draw.io to create Level-0 and Level-1 diagrams, process maps, and workflow documentationStrong ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvementExperience writing business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentationExcellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skillsProven ability to work across business and technical teams to drive alignment and successful deliveryExperience supporting testing activities, including test planning, defect triage, and user acceptance testingStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies preferredBachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferredThe base salary for this position is $ 78,000 to $83,073 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
