Experienced Bookkeeper – Manage Financial Operations

Job Overview:

• Salary/Pay Rate: $60,000 to $75,000+ per year (based on experience)
• Location: Swedesboro, NJ

You will take direct ownership of financial operations and multi-entity accounting as a trusted resource for a growing business. Working for a supportive, family-owned company, you will enjoy a high degree of autonomy to streamline core bookkeeping systems. Your self-driven problem-solving will directly impact the stability and cash flow across all operations.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Manage full-charge bookkeeping functions across multiple operating entities under a parent company using QuickBooks Online.
• Oversee and track financial profiles, ledger transactions, and income for rental property accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable continuously, executing proactive follow-up calls and communications to ensure prompt collections.
• Balance accounts, reconcile financial statements, and maintain precise ledgers to support operational clarity.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies independently to keep financial data accurate and up to date.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to provide clear financial reporting and actionable insight into cash flow.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Direct hands-on experience managing financial accounts using QuickBooks Online.
• Prior experience using Buildertrend software for construction-related accounting.
• Proven ability to independently oversee accounts receivable and execute professional collection calls.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multi-entity accounting structures under a main parent company.
• High self-reliance with a track record of figuring out solutions independently.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of related bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Background managing real estate or rental property financial accounts.
