Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in two welcoming districts within close proximity to one another. In this role, you’ll split your time between schools in Bangor and Hartford, Michigan—just a short drive apart. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with a dedicated educational team and help K-5th graders, while occasionally working with middle school students. The position offers a stable 40-hour work week, following the school year calendar from late August through early June.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid OT licensure for the state of Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in school settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to manage a varied caseload between two locations
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to identify needs and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy services to primarily elementary-aged students (K-5), with some middle school cases
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student success
• Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and legal standards
• Travel between Bangor and Hartford districts (just 15 minutes apart) as assigned
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support teams
