Billing Specialist

A nationally recognized professional services organization is seeking a Billing Specialist to join its Revenue Management team in West Palm Beach.

This position is responsible for the full lifecycle of client billing, including invoice preparation, review, submission, compliance with client guidelines, and resolution of billing issues. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and possesses strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

This is an onsite position based in West Palm Beach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full billing cycle from prebill review through final invoice submission.
• Review and edit prebills based on attorney and stakeholder requests.
• Generate a high volume of complex client invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure invoices comply with client billing guidelines and requirements.
• Compile and submit all required supporting documentation with invoices.
• Process electronic billing submissions through various e-billing platforms.
• Monitor invoice rejections, reductions, and appeals and take corrective action as needed.
• Respond to billing-related inquiries from attorneys, clients, and internal departments.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and assist with special projects as requested.
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Experience in legal, professional services, public accounting, consulting, or similar client-billing environments preferred.
• Prior experience handling high-volume billing processes required.
• Experience with legal billing software and e-billing platforms preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with billing and financial management systems preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills are highly desirable.
