Are you a skilled and dedicated attorney with experience in workers’ compensation and longshore law? A well-established legal team is seeking a Workers’ Compensation and Longshore Attorney to advocate for clients navigating complex claims and securing the compensation they deserve.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in workers’ compensation litigation, including trial involvement, and a strong commitment to client advocacy. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals, manage a dynamic caseload, and contribute to successful case outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Client Representation: Advise clients on legal options and develop effective case strategies.
- Legal Research & Drafting: Prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Court Advocacy: Represent clients in hearings and legal proceedings.
- Case Management: Oversee a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective legal action.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- 3-5 years of experience in workers’ compensation and longshore law.
- Prior experience in a law firm setting.
- Strong legal research, writing, and document preparation skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and research tools.
- Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction.
