Now Hiring: Director of Operations — Porto Vista Hotel (San Diego) Porto Vista Hotel, a boutique independent property in the heart of Little Italy, is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to help lead our team and keep our guest experience exceptional. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys wearing many hats. You'll oversee daily operations across departments, partner closely with ownership and management, and play a key role in guest satisfaction, revenue, staffing, and property standards. What we\'re looking for: Proven leadership experience in hotel or hospitality operations, ideally in an independent or boutique setting. Someone comfortable balancing the big picture with day-to-day details, from front desk support and staffing to guest recovery and operational projects. Strong communication skills, a service-first mindset, and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure. What you\'ll do: Lead and support our operations team across departments. Oversee guest experience, service recovery, and online reputation. Partner on revenue, inventory, and pricing strategy. Manage staffing, scheduling, and department coordination.
