Director of Operations
JK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with Chula Vista’s premier Cosmetic, Implant and General Dentistry Practice in search of a Director of Operations to join its team! The Director of Operations will collaborate with the CEO, Clinical Director, and Leadership team to ensure the organization's efficiency, quality, and financial stability, overseeing people, processes, and technology.
The Director of Operations will focus on eight key priorities to drive the practice's success. They will hire, train, motivate, and hold accountable a cohesive team while overseeing all human resource functions. The role involves developing and managing all administrative operations, ensuring proper billing and managing accounts receivable. Additionally, they will collaborate with doctors to maintain quality dental care and an excellent patient experience, monitor cash flow, productivity, and profitability, and research and implement the best technological tools for the practice. Compliance, security, marketing, and reputation management are also critical areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:
Team Development & Human Resources:
- Hire, train, motivate, and manage a cohesive team.
- Maintain and update job descriptions and SOPs.
- Develop training plans and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate work schedules and manage attendance.
- Conduct employee reviews, maintain personnel files, and resolve conflicts.
- Facilitate team communication through meetings and announcements.
Administrative Operations:
- Oversee daily administrative tasks, including scheduling and front office duties.
- Ensure patient service excellence and proper documentation.
- Develop processes for clinical flow and patient experience.
- Manage patient relations, correspondence, and recall systems.
- Track and follow up on unscheduled treatment plans.
- Monitor cash flow, productivity, and profitability.
- Ensure accurate billing and treatment plans.
- Oversee end-of-day financial processes and cash flow management.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with CEO on Acquisition and Expansion initiatives.
- Implement and oversee technological tools for practice success.
- Coordinate IT issues and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
- Work with marketing partners to develop growth campaigns.
- Maintain the practice website and social media presence.
- Explore new opportunities for positive exposure.
- Coordinate special events.
- Align with and promote the practice’s mission, vision, and core values.
- Lead by example, maintaining professionalism and fostering a positive culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ Years of Dental Experience.
- 2+ Years of Leadership Experience.
- Exceptional human relations skills.
- Ability to handle conflict and get along with people.
- Maintain an outgoing, friendly attitude with patients and team even under pressure.
- Ability to work with interruptions and manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of financials and key metrics for the organization.
- Clear, concise, logical, and legible verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to complete tasks and projects within set time frames.
- Capability to satisfactorily perform essential duties as listed.
Salary Range
- Base salary of $110-120k plus quarterly incentive
