We are employee owned and relationship powered.This is an internal job posting only!The Warehouse Lead works with our warehouse team and oversees the receipt, storage, order preparation, and delivery of material. Day-to-day responsibilities include:Promoting a safe work environment for all employee ownersModeling Lumbermen's core valuesReceiving purchase orders in the computerUnloading incoming freight and ensuring accuracy by comparing product received to enclosed packing listsProperly storing and locating incoming freight in the inventory systemInvestigating staged customer orders that have not been shipped and resolving backordersLeading and making improvements to housekeeping standards and continuous improvement initiativesTraining, motivating, and coaching employee ownersMaintaining a working knowledge of warehouse operationsApproaching work each day with a positive attitudeTreating Employee Owners in a professional mannerHaving a "customer first" mindset and mentalityEnsuring that the work area is clean and organizedAssisting with other tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the operationAt Lumbermen's, our business is built on relationships.
