Position Summary: 

As the Barista , you will be responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention toward each resident, guest, and team member providing a superb customer service experience. Shifts Available

• Monday-Friday, First Shift

Barista Responsibilities

• Ensures each customer is educated on beverages and food items being offered and ensures each order is made as requested.
• Champions hospitality to all residents, guests, and visitors with excellence in customer service.
• Works with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to New Perspective standards at all times.
• Appropriately accounts for all financial transactions through resident billing and receipts.
• Operates and maintains assigned equipment. (Including Point of Sale System: POS)
• Communicates and interacts with residents, families and team members in a kind, respectful and effective way.
• Ensures that an attractive home environment exists at all times at the community with a milieu that fosters engagement, socialization.

Qualifications of a Barista

• A High School diploma / GED with solid accounting skills and experience in the hospitality field.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use a variety of electronic devices.
• Empathy for the challenges experienced by residents and family members and the problem-solving skill sets to support them.
• Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with older adults in senior living, long-term care, home health or other health care setting.
