Position Overview We are actively seeking an empathetic and highly skilled Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team of imaging experts committed to providing superior patient care. You will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to carry out diagnostic examinations, collaborate with a compassionate team of healthcare professionals, and offer reassurance to patients through dependable imaging services. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound evaluations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and other specialized imaging
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout the procedures, clearly communicating processes with empathy and professionalism
- Work closely with radiologists and medical professionals to ensure the delivery of high-caliber diagnostic imaging
- Safely operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, rapidly reporting any operational concerns
- Meticulously document imaging procedures and maintain patient files within the electronic health records system
- Commit to ongoing education and staying updated on the latest sonography advancements and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related area of study
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in sonographic imaging procedures and patient handling
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
