Real Estate Paralegal
Seattle, WA (Hybrid) | Oregon (Remote)
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 DOE + Discretionary Bonus
A highly respected Pacific Northwest law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its growing practice. This firm represents developers, owners, lenders, investors, and nonprofit organizations in sophisticated real estate development and finance matters, with a notable focus on affordable housing, community development, and complex commercial real estate transactions. The firm regularly advises clients on site acquisition, due diligence, project financing, entity formation, and operational matters related to real estate assets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented paralegal who enjoys working on sophisticated transactions in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Candidates based in the Seattle area may work in a hybrid arrangement, while qualified candidates residing in Oregon will be considered for a fully remote work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, financing, and development transactions.
- Conduct title and survey review and summarize findings for attorneys and clients.
- Coordinate and manage due diligence materials, including organizational documents, leases, contracts, permits, and property records.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain transaction closing checklists and closing binders.
- Draft and revise transactional documents, correspondence, and ancillary closing documents.
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, opposing counsel, government agencies, and third parties throughout transactions.
- Assist with entity formation and corporate governance documentation related to real estate ownership structures.
- Maintain transaction databases, filing systems, and document management processes.
- Support attorneys with affordable housing, economic development, and commercial real estate projects.
Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000 - $125,000 annual salary DOE

• 3+ years of paralegal experience focused on real estate matters, ideally within a law firm setting.
• Demonstrated background supporting commercial acquisitions, development deals, financing matters, and closings.
• Working knowledge of title review, survey analysis, escrow procedures, and due diligence coordination.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage several transactions at different stages simultaneously.
• Strong organizational habits with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with attorneys, clients, and external parties.
