Pediatric Sonographer

Saint Louis, Missouri, in the Imaging Services department, we are looking for a full-time employee. The schedule is days with no on-call requirement. The salary is $51.96/hour, based on job qualifications and relevant work experience. There is a sign-on bonus of $5000 for eligible applicants. The work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday for both week one and week two, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with limited weekend and holiday requirements.

The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging including abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders and assists with needle procedures (i.e. biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular imaging.

Responsibilities include ensuring the proper function and readiness of all equipment, performing ultrasound imaging examinations, and ensuring proper documentation of procedures. Studies may be performed independently, on-call, portable exams, and at other sites as required by work area.

Minimum requirements include an associate or trade school equivalent and no experience. Preferred requirements include two years of experience and the following licenses and certifications: RDCS or equivalent.
