EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred Experience with QuickBooks software Experience with NetSmart software Experience in non-profit healthcare a plus LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS None THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITIO N Performs general accounting and other related duties for the organization Prepares accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports Maintains the general ledger · Reconciles accounts and assists with the month end close · Reconciles bank account monthly, verifies deposits and researches any discrepancies Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, credit card, and other financial accounts · Posts payments by recording cash, checks and credit card transactions in accounting software, with coordination from Patient Financial Services and Marketing/Development departments · Prepares daily cash reconciliation and daily statistical reports · Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit · Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures (GAAP) · Studies and recommends changes to accounting operations to enhance effectiveness · Prepares journal entries monthly, accumulating necessary information Summary Salary is $70,000-$75,000/annually D.O.E. #J-18808-Ljbffr
