Job Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and a careful review of medical histories
• Aid in the diagnosis and management of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging and lab results
• Engage actively with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Offer critical support during operations by preparing surgical environments, maintaining patient safety, and assisting directly with instruments
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative patient care, which includes managing medications, wound care, and discharge protocols

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical component is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
