VP Acquisitions | Affordable Housing

A privately backed real estate investment platform is seeking a VP (or SVP) of Development to help build and lead a growing affordable and multifamily housing platform. This is an entrepreneurial, highly autonomous role focused on sourcing opportunities, structuring transactions, building relationships, and driving projects through full-cycle execution. Responsibilities Originate and source new development opportunities Lead deals from site control through financing, entitlements, construction and completion Structure transactions involving LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, conventional financing and other capital Build relationships with landowners, municipalities, lenders, investors and development partners Help shape market strategy, partnerships and the future development team Ideal Background 8+ years of real estate development experience 5+ years of proven deal origination Track record of personally sourcing and executing full-cycle developments Strong multifamily and/or affordable housing experience LIHTC/bond experience preferred, but strong multifamily developers will be considered Entrepreneurial, relationship-driven and comfortable working directly with ownership This is not a traditional project-management role — we're looking for a proven developer who can create the deals and execute them.
