Physical Therapist (PT) - General

Physical Therapist Rehabilitation

Schedule: 8 or 9 hours per day, 4 days per week

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week

Requirements:

• Master's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current Physical Therapist state license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms while reviewing medical history and referrals.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction through patient observation and assessment.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Teach patients therapeutic exercises and stretches to enhance recovery.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques to alleviate pain and promote healing.
• Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status and progress.
