Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN specialized in MedSurg/Telemetry for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. This role involves providing care for patients with general medical conditions, including some cardiac cases, pneumonia, UTI, and chest pain. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience and be comfortable with telemetry and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Perform wound care and manage surgical drains
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Oversee CNAs in providing patient care and safety rounds

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Experience with PCA, surgical drains, and telemetry

Preferred:

• Travel experience preferred
• Cardizem/Amiodarone gtt experience
