Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job

Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a 13-week travel assignment in a long-term care setting in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date is October 19, 2026. Rotating shifts will be based on census and facility need. Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments, administer medications, and implement treatments per physician orders
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes; notify the MD/NP of pertinent information
- Admit and discharge residents as assigned; coordinate with the care team
- Provide ADL assistance and supportive care, including specialized tasks such as gastrostomy tube care and urinary catheter care
- Deliver nebulized treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care as directed
- Maintain accurate documentation, uphold infection control practices, and ensure resident safety

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Hawaii
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Completed accredited LPN program (education requirement)
- Ability to work rotating/variable shifts
- Proof of influenza vaccination or facility-approved exception prior to contract start date (flu vaccine can be administered during employee health clearance)
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend employee health appointment
