Junior Accountant

LHH is partnering with a large company in Bellevue, WA that is searching for a temporary to hire Junior Accountant for their team. The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree in accounting (or related field) and have strong, professional communication skills. This accounting group interacts with both internal and external customers. Also, there is a high volume of work that is being processed by this team so high attention to detail is crucial. This position offers a hybrid work schedule after a training period. Also, there is a lot of opportunity to grow internally through the accounting department so it's a good position for someone who is pursuing a long-term accounting career.
Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry and transaction processing
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking
• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with audit preparation by gathering requested documentation and schedules

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and exposure to ERP accounting software systems
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
