Sit-Down Forklift Operator Requirements

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required
  
• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred
  
• Ability to operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently
  
• Strong attention to inventory and product accuracy
  
• Ability to verify product labels and quantities
  
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
  
• Strong awareness of pedestrians, equipment, and warehouse traffic
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team
  
• Commitment to forklift and workplace-safety procedures
  

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, lift, and transport pallets, products, and materials.
  
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and incoming or outgoing shipments.
  
• Move materials to designated storage, staging, shipping, and receiving areas.
  
• Stack and organize pallets in assigned warehouse locations.
  
• Assist with loading and unloading materials while following proper safety procedures.
  
• Verify product labels and quantities when moving inventory.
  
• Complete pre-shift forklift inspections.
  
• Report equipment damage, maintenance needs, and safety concerns promptly.
  
• Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment, and other warehouse traffic.
  
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  
• Follow all company policies, warehouse procedures, and equipment-operating guidelines.
  
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
