Position Overview

We are seeking a polished, professional, and hospitality-driven Doorman to support the arrival experience within a luxury commercial property environment in Miami Beach. This highly visible front-of-house role is responsible for creating a welcoming and elevated experience for tenants, guests, and visitors from the moment they arrive.

The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, excellent presentation, professionalism, and the ability to maintain composure and attentiveness in a high-touch luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

Tenant & Guest Arrival Experience

  • Greet tenants, guests, and visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
  • Open doors, assist with arrivals, and provide attentive front-of-house hospitality service
  • Recognize tenants and anticipate service needs whenever possible
  • Maintain a welcoming and polished entrance experience at all times

Vehicle & Curbside Coordination

  • Coordinate vehicle arrivals and departures with valet and front services teams
  • Assist tenants and guests entering and exiting vehicles safely and professionally
  • Help maintain organized traffic flow within the arrival area and entrance zone

Visitor Management & Access Support

  • Verify visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with building access procedures
  • Communicate arrivals and important updates to concierge, valet, security, and management teams
  • Support tenant privacy and confidentiality while maintaining a professional guest experience

Package & Delivery Handling

  • Assist with packages, deliveries, and personal items with care and accuracy
  • Accept and document deliveries appropriately and notify tenants promptly
  • Ensure proper handling and organization of incoming items

Front Entrance Maintenance

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the building entrance and arrival areas
  • Monitor doors, entryways, signage, and surrounding areas to ensure a polished appearance
  • Report operational, safety, or service concerns promptly

Safety & Emergency Awareness

  • Remain alert to safety concerns, suspicious activity, or emergency situations
  • Respond calmly and professionally during emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Follow established building safety and emergency procedures

Presentation & Professional Standards

  • Maintain impeccable grooming and professional appearance at all times
  • Wear the company-issued uniform according to established standards
  • Demonstrate professionalism, attentiveness, and hospitality throughout each shift
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding tenant information and daily operations
  • Avoid distractions, personal phone use, and unprofessional behavior while on post

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working outdoors in Miami weather conditions, including heat and humidity
  • Ability to lift and carry packages or luggage up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to assist tenants and guests with physical support as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in luxury hospitality, front services, doorman, bell services, valet, guest services, or related customer-facing roles
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Professional communication and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
