Position Overview

Muscle Care Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Rockaway, New Jersey. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with a small team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) to empower patients on their journey to optimal health. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' goals, limitations, and individual needs, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, dedicating your full attention to comprehensive assessments and tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Develop and implement cost-effective treatment strategies that aim to improve patients' range of motion while minimizing the need for medications or surgical procedures.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment process, reinforcing the importance of their active participation in recovery.
• Monitor and document treatment outcomes diligently, ensuring clear communication with both patients and the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to provide holistic care tailored to each patient's unique situation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinic primarily serves clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain, and mobility issues. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid state license as a Physical Therapist with a clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions.

• Familiarity with EMR Software, especially WebPT, to efficiently manage patient documentation and care planning.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
