Aurora Technologies, Inc. is a custom machine shop leading the industry in thermosets and thermoplastics.We are seeking qualified and beginning machinists to fulfill roles in our machine shop to work on either of our shifts in all THREE of our facilities located in Pacific, Missouri.1st Shift is from 7am - 4pm Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work may be required or asked as job duties demand.2nd Shift is from 4:00pm - 1:00am Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work may be required or asked as job duties demand.**Starting pay is based on experience, $18/hr and up!!**Shift Differential available for 2nd shiftJob Description:Understand quality and production within company specifications, goals, and objectivesComply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; comply with internal company practicesSupport all 6S and lean initiativesReport any issues to the Production SupervisorMaintain proper training, tools, and materials to carry out his/her dutiesSet up and manage CNC Machines to perform different jobsEnsure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the companyOversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved resultsCheck machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionalityRequired Knowledge and Skills:Have an understanding of how to work with a teamMust possess basic computer operation skillsAbility to complete basic math and read a tape measureSome experience in manufacturingMinimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalentGood computer skillsGreat attention to detailExperience with CNC Machining not required but preferredAbility to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings, such as blueprints is preferredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift 40 lbs.Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hoursAbility to bend and squatAbility to work in an environment without a controlled temperatureJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftOvertime #J-18808-Ljbffr
