Clarios is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes/CVs.**What We Offer*** Competitive starting pay $32.01/hr with contractual progression and shift premiums* Paid vacation and 13 paid holidays* Health, dental, and vision insurance (Day 31)* 401k with company match and retirement contributions (RIC 1–7% with 50% match up to 3%)* Annual bonus opportunity (4% of gross wages)* Free employee battery program (after 120 days)* PPE, uniforms, safety glasses, safety shoes, earplugs, and respirators provided* $1,000 referral bonus (paid after 90 days)* Fitness reimbursement program* Recognition programs (Safety Week, Holiday Party, Tenure Awards, World of Fun, Spring Fling, etc.)* Opportunities for growth and advancement**Job Responsibilities*** Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery, equipment, and plant utilities (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems)* Read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals; diagnose and correct machine difficulties to minimize downtime* Install, adjust, and modify equipment, including electrical, gas, water, air, and hydraulic hookups* Operate and maintain precision tools and shop equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, saws, and welders* Fabricate and repair racks, bins, guards, fixtures, and small tools from sketches or verbal instructions* Perform preventive maintenance (oil, grease, inspections, adjustments) to maximize uptime* Service and operate rectifiers and test instruments* Maintain accurate work records and log parts or materials used* Support continuous improvement and safe work practices (LOTO, PPE, safety guidelines)* Provide guidance to lower-level maintenance personnel as needed**Qualifications****Required*** High school diploma or GED* Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment* Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed* Must be able to wear required PPE (uniform, safety shoes, glasses, respirator, earplugs)* U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident (sponsorship not available)**Preferred*** 1+ year experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role* Demonstrated ability in mechanical and electrical repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and high-voltage circuits**About the Plant**Our St. Joseph, Missouri Dry Assembly Plant (DAP) opened in 1973 and now employs more than 860 people. The facility manufactures automotive and marine batteries and is a key contributor to Clarios’ global supply chain. Shift differentials: 2nd shift +$1.00/hr, 3rd shift +$2.00/hr, weekend shift +$0.29/hr. Paid weekly on Fridays. **Shifts:** Primarily 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm) and 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:00am).
