This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse industrial equipment while ensuring optimal facility operations and production efficiency./ppstrongPosition Overview:/strong The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role combines preventive maintenance activities with emergency repair work to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules./ppstrongCore Duties:/strong/pulliPerform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment/liliExecute scheduled preventive maintenance programs according to established procedures/liliRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics for maintenance activities/liliMaintain and repair electrical components including motor control centers, lighting systems, conduit installations, and three-phase equipment/liliConduct MIG welding operations for equipment repair and modification projects/liliService AC/DC generators and heat induction systems as required/liliUtilize digital multimeters and electrical testing equipment for diagnostic work/liliComplete work orders through computerized maintenance management system/liliCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisory staff regarding equipment status and repair needs/li/ulpstrongAdditional Responsibilities:/strong/pulliExecute mechanical repairs on production line machinery and components/liliAddress building maintenance issues including structural and facility systems/liliSupport wastewater treatment operations through equipment inspection and process adjustments/liliPerform water quality testing to ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal standards/liliComplete miscellaneous maintenance tasks as directed by supervision/liliParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs/li/ulpstrongRequired Qualifications:/strong/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, OR/liliAssociate degree in Industrial Technology, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field with completed apprenticeship program/li/ulpstrongTechnical Skills Required:/strong/pulliProficiency in troubleshooting PLC ladder logic systems/liliLock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) authorization and experience/liliCertification in elevated work platforms, confined space entry, and ladder safety protocols/liliKnowledge of SPCC spill response, hazardous material handling, and NFPA 70E arc flash safety/liliUnderstanding of wastewater treatment technologies and associated equipment/liliAbility to obtain DOT HAZMAT certification and Georgia Class 2 Wastewater Operator license/liliExperience with quality assurance procedures and regulatory compliance monitoring/li/ulpstrongPosition Requirements:/strong/pulliMust provide personal hand tools for daily maintenance activities/liliAbility to work in various environmental conditions including confined spaces and elevated areas/liliStrong mechanical aptitude with electrical troubleshooting capabilities/liliExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail/li/ulpstrongCompensation:/strong/pulliCompetitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications/liliComprehensive benefits package available/liliOpportunities for professional development and skills advancement/li/ulpThis role provides excellent growth potential for a maintenance professional looking to expand their technical expertise in a stable manufacturing environment./p/div
