Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our client's production team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of high-speed liquid bottling and packaging lines. You will perform emergency repairs, routine preventative maintenance, and system upgrades within a food-safe manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage industry preferred).
• Technical degree or equivalent certification in Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance.
• Ability to work in varying temperature environments and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for flexible shifts or "on-call" emergency support.

salary: $58,240 - $64,480 per year

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic machinery.

• Maintain high-speed liquid filling, capping, and labeling equipment.

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) work orders.

• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and automated control systems.

• Fabricate and weld replacement parts or system components.

• Document all repairs and parts usage within the CMMS.

• Ensure compliance with food safety (SQF/GMP) and OSHA standards.

• Minimize production downtime through rapid emergency response.

• Monitor equipment performance for efficiency and safety.

• Collaborate with production and sanitation teams for line transitions.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
• working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
