Exciting contract opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist looking to make an impact in a dynamic educational environment. This long-term role starts November 18 and continues through March 1, supporting 4th and 5th grade students in an in-person setting. You’ll be instrumental in providing psychological services, assessments, and guidance for students to foster success and well-being throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid School Psychologist licensure/certification
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in an elementary school is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of completing and interpreting RETRs and IETRs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport and connect with upper elementary-aged students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person psychological services to 4th and 5th grade students on site
- Complete required RETRs and IETRs throughout the assignment
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional feedback on student evaluations
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans as needed
Position Details:
- Contract assignment, Monday through Friday
- Hours: 7:40 AM – 3:10 PM
