We Are Looking for Pediatric Urologists to Expand Our Team at Cohen Children's Medical Center
Our organization is actively seeking enthusiastic and academically inclined pediatric urologists to enhance our expanding service. Cohen Children's Medical Center consistently ranks as the top pediatric urology service in New York according to US News & World Report and is distinguished by having the only ACGME-accredited Fellowship program in the state, established in 1993. We provide training for residents from various New York residency programs and have successfully guided over a dozen residents toward fellowship training in pediatric urology.
The Pediatric Urology DivisionThe Pediatric Urology Division boasts a rich history and is currently experiencing a new phase of expansion. The Northwell Health System is continually growing, presenting opportunities across the New York Metro area. Our state-of-the-art facilities include modern operating rooms, Da Vinci dv5 robotic systems, urodynamic equipment, and point-of-care ultrasound technology. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic faculty at Cohen's under new leadership, supported by a full team of Nurse Practitioners, creating an exceptional environment for delivering comprehensive care to children and adolescents. Academic collaboration is available through the Smith Institute of Urology at Northwell and the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
About Cohen Children's Medical CenterEstablished in 1983, Cohen Children's Medical Center is the only hospital in the New York metropolitan area dedicated solely to pediatric care. It has grown to become the largest pediatric teaching hospital in the region, with over 750,000 visits each year, serving 1.8 million children across Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. As the tertiary pediatric medical center within the Northwell Health System, it is also the sole Level-1 Pediatric Trauma Center in Nassau and Queens. Cohen Children's Medical Center has been recognized as the top children's hospital in New York State and has achieved top 50 national rankings for outstanding care in ten pediatric subspecialties.
