HIGHLIGHTS: Hourly Rate: insert (if applicable) Shift: insert shift (if applicable) Sign-on Bonus: Insert sign-on bonus information here (if applicable) HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT Ensures uninterrupted supply of utilities and key building mechanical systems to the plant facility and administrative building. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all types of machinery and systems to include well water, natural gas, boilers, chillers, fire, supply fans, exhaust fans, air compressors and air handling systems. Monitors indicators for facility management system, performs reactive and proactive maintenance to prevent the breakdown of critical equipment. Manages small projects overseeing outside contractors and vendors ensuring code compliance, on time completion within approved budget. THE DUTIES Drive Equipment Reliability & Uptime: Proactively troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair facility and production equipment while leveraging SAP to prioritize work, manage preventive/predictive maintenance, and ensure accurate documentation—keeping operations running safely and efficiently. Champion Data-Driven Maintenance Excellence: Utilize statistical tools, condition-based monitoring, and risk-based reliability methods to analyze performance, improve systems (chillers, water treatment, EMS), and continuously enhance equipment reliability and plant performance. Lead Facilities & Capital Project Execution: Support new equipment installations (including rigging/seismic), lead small‑scale facility and energy projects, provide technical expertise, manage vendors and procurement, and ensure all systems meet safety and regulatory requirements. Elevate Team Capability & Operational Processes: Contribute to long‑term facility planning, develop maintenance programs and documentation, train technicians, and drive continuous improvement initiatives through collaboration and leadership within daily management systems. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong Technical Foundation: High school diploma or GED required, with formal training in HVAC, boiler safety, blueprint reading, and applied mathematics—backed by 4+ years of hands‑on manufacturing and maintenance experience in mechanical and facility systems. Mechanical Expertise & Digital Fluency: Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems, paired with working knowledge of computer systems (Windows, internet tools, and maintenance software environments). Collaborative Communication Skills: Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with technicians, engineers, supervisors, and procurement—communicating effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences to drive results. AVAILABILITY Typical schedule for this role will be Monday-Thursday 530am-4pm. Overtime availability as required by the role and at the discretion of department leaders.
