Job Summary A growing international food manufacturing organization is seeking a Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Hayward, CA. This role is ideal for a bilingual accounting professional who enjoys leading daily accounting operations, improving processes, and supporting financial reporting for both U.S. and Japanese stakeholders. The Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and partnering with leadership across accounting, operations, supply chain, and executive teams. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll support, and close activities. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies. Coordinate financial reporting, analysis, and communication with Japanese headquarters or international stakeholders. Oversee inventory accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations. Maintain and improve accounting controls, procedures, documentation, and compliance processes. Support external audits, tax preparation, regulatory reporting, and accounting team development.
