About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required, including 18 months of recent emergency room experience. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications required. TNCC certification preferred Must-Have: Must work at least every other holiday. Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores. Description: Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The day shift operates from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty, preferably gained in one location but can be from multiple locations as well. Travel experience in the emergency room will be accepted. Active and valid certifications must be provided at the time of submission; pending certifications will not be accepted. A reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty is required for qualification. Candidates must be nicotine-free unless exempt. A negative 10-panel drug screen is required within 12 months of the start date and must be updated annually. Candidates cannot return for a period of one year from their previous end date. Candidates may extend their contract for a maximum of 18 months, followed by a required 6-month break. Annual competency requirements must be met for continuous contracts.
