New Graduate - Construction Assistant Field Manager 2026- Heavy Civil

Responsibilities Brasfield & Gorrie has exciting opportunities in multiple locations for upcoming graduates interested in full-time employment in the construction industry as an Assistant Field Manager on our growing heavy civil project teams. We are looking for candidates interested in the road / bridge, water / wastewater, & power / process market sectors and want to work with a driven team on large scale projects throughout the southeast. Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned): Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned Reviews and interprets shop drawings Reviews submittals and expedites materials Monitors production rates and schedules Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement Assists with reporting obligations Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience Must be an upcoming graduate of an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in construction, engineering, or related field Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields will be considered.
