Administrative Manager, Assistant Director - Louisville or New Orleans

About the Role As an Administrative Manager, Assistant Director, you’ll develop and implement administrative strategic plans, establish and maintain performance measurements, and monitor financial and operational performance in line with administrative service parameters. You’ll understand the organization’s structure and client business, effectively manage resources and processes, and lead teams through staffing, training, coaching, and performance management. Key Responsibilities Manage workflow and negotiate assignments for executive assistants based on client need and resources. Solicit ongoing feedback from customers to evaluate and coach executive assistants. Set up full project plans including objectives, milestones, priorities, team, calendar, and deliverables. Identify potential project issues to prioritize resources, timing, quality, scope, and risk. Initiate discussions with existing clients for additional work and assess satisfaction with current support. Coordinate and assist with budget planning, staying within approved budget. Meet or exceed internal client needs by partnering with other groups, cultivating relationships, aligning people and processes, and identifying workplace efficiencies to add value. Anticipate customer expectations and follow up to ensure internal client satisfaction. Create a knowledge transfer culture within the team. Participate in national or area projects. Skills and Attributes for Success Ability to work with all levels within the firm and build solid relationships with internal groups. Exercise influence at many levels of the organization. Proactively identify and address project risks and opportunities. Manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Provide alternative solutions when necessary. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Project management experience. Instill confidence and provide leadership in managing people. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience. 8‑10+ years of experience. 5+ years of experience managing people. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. Ability to be in the Louisville office a few times a month. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with MS SharePoint. Strong knowledge of MS Office, various iOS and Android mobile devices. Benefits Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, base salary range $91,900–$171,800 (USD).
