We are seeking a professional and personable Remote Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our valued guests, you will play a crucial role in upholding our tradition of creating a welcoming dining experience. This is a full-time, remote position dedicated to managing reservations and enquiries for our Aquebogue location, ensuring our high standards of customer service are maintained from a distance.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all incoming telephone calls and email enquiries in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
* Handle customer reservations, modifications, and cancellations efficiently using our digital booking system.
* Provide accurate information to guests regarding our menu, opening hours, special events, and location.
* Liaise effectively with on-site restaurant staff to ensure seamless communication and a smooth guest experience.
* Uphold the restaurant's commitment to outstanding customer service in every interaction.
* Address customer feedback with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary.
* Perform general administrative duties to support the restaurant's operations as required.

Skills and Qualifications

* Proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as a receptionist, customer service representative, or administrative assistant. Experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry is highly desirable.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a clear and professional telephone manner.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficiency with reservation software and standard office applications.
* A self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and reliably in a remote setting.
* Must have a dedicated, quiet workspace and a stable, high-speed internet connection.
