In this role, you will evaluate and treat residents to enhance their quality of life through communication, cognitive, and swallowing therapy. You will act as a vital link between residents, families, and the interdisciplinary medical team.### ### **Compensation & Benefits*** **Starting Wage:** **$60.00 per hour*** **Benefits:** Comprehensive benefits package included.* **Career Growth:** **New graduates are welcome!** We provide a supportive environment for those beginning their clinical careers.### ### **Key Responsibilities*** **Clinical Excellence:** Evaluate residents to determine therapy needs, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.* **Treatment Planning:** Develop and implement individualized plans focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.* **Documentation:** Maintain timely and compliant medical records in accordance with facility and governmental standards.* **Collaboration:** Communicate progress with physicians and nursing staff; participate in Resident Care and Utilization Review meetings.* **Education & Training:** Provide ongoing in-services for facility staff and assist with training Restorative Aides.* **Mentorship:** Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) or students in accordance with the state practice act.### ### **Qualifications*** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.* **Licensure:** Valid Speech Therapist license in the state of California in good standing.* **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in healthcare software such as **Net Health** and **Point Click Care**.* **Certifications:** CPR certification (if required by licensure) and meeting all state continuing education requirements.### EEOPACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country.
