Full-Time/Regular We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sourcing Leader - Non clinical Professional Services. In this role, the successful candidate we are seeking is a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Leader specializing in non‑clinical Professional Services to join NYU Langone Health. As a key member of Corporate Services Strategic Sourcing team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives for non‑clinical departments. Job Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing Planning Develop and implement comprehensive strategic sourcing plans for non‑clinical professional services, aligning with overall organizational goals. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand current and future service needs. Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key service providers. Conduct regular performance reviews and collaborate with suppliers to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness. Negotiation and Contract Management Lead negotiations with vendors and for various professional services to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements. Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Market Analysis Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging professional services technologies. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities. Cost Management Work closely with finance and other relevant departments to manage and optimize costs related to non‑clinical professional services across the organization. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Assess and mitigate risks associated with non‑clinical professional services sourcing, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulations. Implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions in service delivery. Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including finance, legal, and IT, to ensure alignment on sourcing strategies and objectives. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on sourcing initiatives and performance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Minimum of three years of strategic sourcing responsibilities for various commodities both products and services within and outside healthcare organizations. Experience in operational, procurement, and sourcing functions. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of procurement/sourcing processes. Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data in Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to follow a process based on documented guidelines. Ability to take direction from senior leaders. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience in strategic sourcing with non‑clinical categories. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. In‑depth knowledge of industry trends and best practices. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $101,493.51 – $122,968.54 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
