Associate Director Global Oncology Marketing Launch Excellence

Merck

Associate Director role leading launch planning for two to three priority oncology products within a five-year pipeline. Responsible for ensuring launch readiness, establishing standards, and driving cross-functional execution excellence across Global Oncology.

Responsibilities

Lead two to three priority product launches as launch planner, ensuring readiness and achievement of key milestones
Drive strategic launch planning via Launch Planning Tool and evolve processes for consistency and efficiency
Identify and escalate launch readiness risks using dashboards and metrics; partner on mitigation strategies
Develop and implement global launch standards and best practices across Global Oncology
Support Executive Director on operational initiatives and facilitate cross-enterprise knowledge sharing

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
Minimum five years pharmaceutical industry experience
Demonstrated project management and launch planning expertise
Strong commercial acumen and business strategy capabilities
Ability to lead and influence across functions without direct authority
Proactive leadership with urgency, collaboration skills, and cross-functional credibility
Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Compensation: $156,900–$247,000 base
