Livein Caregiver with Companion Care Experience

About the Role:

Join Qualicare Home Care Central NJ as a Caregiver and make a difference in the lives of our clients. We are seeking compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional personal care and support in a warm and inviting environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate live-in companionship and support to the client in a home setting.

Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support as needed.

Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

Offer emotional support and engage the client in meaningful conversation and activities.

Monitor the client’s overall well-being and report any changes or concerns to the care team.

Assist with medication reminders and follow the established care plan.

Maintain accurate documentation and communicate professionally with supervisors and family members when required.

Build a respectful, supportive, and trusting relationship with the client and family.

Requirements:

Valid CHHA certification preferred, not required.

Previous experience in live-in, companion care, or personal caregiving preferred.

Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to assist with mobility and daily living activities when required.

Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling availability.

Must pass background screening and provide professional references.

Experience working with elderly or disabled clients is preferred.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and live-in assignments as needed.

Additional language skills in Hindi are highly valued to support effective communication and client comfort in this specific care environment.
