We’re working with an established technology services business that is entering an exciting new phase of growth across the Microsoft, Cloud and DevOps ecosystem .

\n

\n

With an international team, a strong base of enterprise and mid-market customers, and deep technical expertise, the business is now looking for a senior sales leader to help accelerate its growth.

\n

\n

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity. You’ll carry your own number, win new business and work closely with the leadership team - while having the opportunity to build and lead a sales organisation as the business scales .

The opportunity

You’ll take ownership of the Microsoft-focused sales strategy, working across areas including:

\n
• Microsoft Azure & Azure DevOps
\n
• Cloud transformation and modernisation
\n
• DevOps and CI/CD
\n
• GitHub / GitHub Actions
\n
• Application modernisation
\n
• Data and cloud solutions
\n
• IoT and connected technologies
\n

\n

\n

The business has a strong track record delivering complex technology solutions and has established relationships across enterprise customers and technology partners. There is now a significant opportunity to take those capabilities into new markets and customers.

\n

\n

What you'll do

\n

\n
• Own and deliver a personal sales target.
\n
• Develop new enterprise and mid-market opportunities.
\n
• Build relationships with senior technology and business leaders.
\n
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles through to close.
\n
• Develop the Microsoft and Cloud go-to-market strategy.
\n
• Work closely with technical and delivery teams to shape solutions.
\n
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships.
\n
• Represent the business at key technology events and conferences.
\n
• Build and develop a high-performing sales team as the function grows.
\n

What we're looking for

\n

You'll be an experienced technology sales leader with a proven track record of winning new business and delivering against significant targets .

\n

\n

Ideally, you’ll come from a Microsoft-focused technology environment , with experience selling solutions across areas such as Azure, Azure DevOps, Cloud, DevOps, IT Services, Technology Consulting, Managed Services or Systems Integration .

\n

\n

We're looking for someone who can combine hands-on selling with genuine leadership capability - someone who can open opportunities, build trusted relationships, close business and ultimately build a team around them.

\n

\n

Location

\n

• US-based – East Coast preferred , although exceptional candidates elsewhere in the US will be considered.
\n
• Regular travel will be required for customer meetings and industry events, typically around once a month.
\n
• A competitive package is available, based on experience and seniority. Permanent and contract-to-hire options can be considered.
\n
