Pharmacy Tech - Fremont, California

An immediate opportunity is available for skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support a special project in a busy production pharmacy setting located in the Bay Area. This contract role is ideal for pharmacy technicians looking to quickly enhance their earnings while applying their expertise in a fast-paced environment.


Location: Fremont, CA (Bay Area)


Schedule/Hours:

• Four (4) daytime shifts: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Six (6) evening shifts: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM

Duration: Start ASAP through May 31


Key Responsibilities:

• Operate under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to accurately fill prescriptions.
• Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing, ensuring compliance with standards and government regulations.
• Support the Pharmacist with final checking of filled prescriptions, including stating medications for review and packaging post-review.
• Coordinate timely and precise delivery of medications to customers.
• Aid Pharmacy Management with inventory control practices such as receiving, rotating stock, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts.
• Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor to maintain a clean, safe, and well-calibrated work environment.
• This role focuses on fulfillment and production tasks; IV preparation is not included.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician License in hand.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy production setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under direct pharmacist supervision.
