Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Position Overview: An entry-level Registered Nurse role responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a dialysis setting. The role involves assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients, including delegation of tasks to care staff, participating in decision-making, education, leadership, and quality improvement activities. Key Responsibilities Perform patient data collection and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Educate patients and families on treatment options and care procedures. Administer medications and respond to emergencies. Collaborate with the healthcare team and contribute to staff training. Ensure laboratory procedures are correctly performed and documented. Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Nursing School with current state licensure. CPR/BLS certification required. Entry-level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology experience; dialysis experience preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, standing, and assisting with patient mobility. Strong teamwork, communication, and patient education skills.
