Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 base + 10% bonus

Travel: Minimal; occasional travel to suppliers, customers, and tooling shops

Position Overview

\n

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from initial concept through full production launch. This role will determine how new products can be manufactured efficiently, reliably, and at scale while partnering closely with engineering, operations, quality, tooling, and production teams.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead manufacturing-readiness activities for NPI projects from tooling kickoff through production release.
\n
• Evaluate product manufacturability and production requirements.
\n
• Determine tooling, packaging, automation, equipment, labor, and process-capability requirements.
\n
• Develop cost estimates and quoting inputs for labor, tooling, packaging, automation, machinery, and manufacturing processes.
\n
• Define, qualify, and validate new manufacturing equipment and processes.
\n
• Support PFMEA, IQ, OQ, and PQ activities.
\n
• Create work instructions, SOPs, project records, and production-handoff documentation.
\n
• Train operators and support production teams during new-product launches.
\n
• Monitor launch metrics and manage the transition from engineering into ongoing production.
\n
• Prepare and evaluate RFQ packages for packaging, automation, and post-processing equipment.
\n
• Manage project scope, action items, deadlines, and communication throughout development and launch.
\n
• Work directly with suppliers, customers, tooling shops, and internal cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
\n
• 4+ years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or new product launch experience.
\n
• Experience with injection molding and/or blow molding.
\n
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and process validation.
\n
• Strong communication, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
\n

• SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
\n
• ERP systems.
\n
• IQMS/DELMIAWorks.
