Job Description
The Cherry Picker Operator plays a vital role in warehouse environments by safely and efficiently operating cherry picker equipment to handle medium-weight loads between 500 and 2000 lbs. Working primarily on standard daytime shifts as part of a crew team, the operator ensures smooth material movement while adhering to strict safety protocols and performing routine equipment inspections.
Responsibilities
- Operate cherry picker equipment to lift and transport medium-weight loads
- Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Handle and secure loads properly to prevent damage or accidents
- Collaborate effectively with team members to coordinate lift operations
Required Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator License
- Certified Cherry Picker Operator
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in equipment operation
- Knowledge of equipment operation and safety protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
The material handlers will support the operation to pull and sequence the orders received in a efficient timely manner to meet the shipping deadlines.
