Associate Veterinarian - Northfield Veterinary Hospital

Dogs. Cats. Rabbits. Ferrets. And a career that keeps things interesting.

Increase your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.

Some veterinarians know exactly what they want. Others discover that the cases they enjoy most are the ones they never expected. At Northfield Veterinary Hospital, you'll have the opportunity to do both.

Our doctors enjoy the variety of traditional small animal medicine while also caring for rabbits, ferrets, and other small exotics. It's one of the things that makes practicing here so rewarding. One moment you may be helping a new puppy owner navigate preventive care. The next, you're working up an exotic patient or collaborating on a surgical case. If you're looking for a place where medicine stays interesting, relationships matter, and teamwork comes naturally, we'd love to meet you.

Why Northfield?

• More Variety Than the Typical GP Practice
• In addition to caring for dogs and cats, our team also sees rabbits, ferrets, and other small exotics, creating opportunities to expand your skills and keep medicine engaging.
• Build Relationships That Last
• We're proud to be a trusted part of the Northfield community and value the long-term relationships we build with pets and the people who love them.
• Practice High-Quality Medicine
• From preventive care and diagnostics to surgery and treatment planning, you'll have the tools and support needed to provide exceptional care.
• Medicine, Not Micromanagement
• We believe great doctors do their best work when given autonomy, support, and the opportunity to collaborate with a strong team.
• A Great Place to Grow
• Whether you're a new graduate looking for mentorship or an experienced veterinarian eager to continue developing your interests, we'll support your professional goals through CE, training, and development opportunities.

Compensation Designed Around Your Goals

Earn in a way that works for you. Whether you value the predictability of salary ($120,000-140,000) or the earning potential of production, we'll work with you to create a compensation package that aligns with your goals.

• 22% Professional Services | 10% In-Practice Pharmacy | 5% Online Pharmacy

With no negative accrual, you can enjoy the upside of production without the stress of carrying a future repayment balance. Along with competitive compensation, you'll have access to leadership development, professional growth opportunities, robust benefits, and support designed to help you make a lasting impact on your team, patients, and community.

Benefits:

• CE Allowance + Encore Performance Academy
• Health, Dental, Vision and Pet Benefits
• 401(k) with up to a 5% match.
• Paid parental leave and holiday pay.
• Professional dues coverage and company paid VIN membership

What We're Looking For
